No make-up look is complete without a lippie, it’s like wearing a beautiful outfit without shoes. It just won’t work. When it comes to lipsticks and lipglosses, I’ve always preferred to stick to neutrals/nudes. However, of late I’ve started experimenting with bright/loud colours. So, I thought I’d share some of my new favourites. I love MAC lippies because they feel good on my lips, they don’t have that drying effect and they tend to stay on longer. There new retro matte liquid lipcolours stay on the whole day, I kid you not. You apply once, they don’t come off until you wash them of.

MAC – Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour: Re-Collection (Think ‘Mac Heroine’ in a liquid form. There are 15 colours overall in this collection which is available in stores on O4 February 2016. Price: R280)MAC – Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour:Feels So Grand (Think ‘Mac Ruby Woo’ in a liquid form. There are 15 colours overall in this collection which is available in stores on O4 February 2016. Price: R280) MAC – Cremesheen Lipstick: Black Knight (This has more of a dark brown undertone than black, if you apply it lightly. So if you’re like me and you’re not ready to commit to dark-black lips, this is for you. It does go completely black though, if you apply it over and over. It also has tiny specks of gold glitter, which are not visible unless you look very closely) This is part of their Dark Desires collection available on the 3rd of December 2015 at their Freestanding stores (Melrose Arch, Rosebank and V&A Waterfront) and on www.maccosmetics.co.za only. Price: R210
